Andrew Dodd

Director & Chartered Financial Planner
Director & Chartered Financial PlannerBSc (Hons) APFS

Andy originally passed his Financial Planning Certificate in 1999 and has been advising clients since 2004, obtaining chartered status in 2011. With an honours degree in Mathematics Andy’s main skillset lies in his technical knowledge, he always wants to peer under the hood of any problem! He is most comfortable in deep analysis and takes time to produce the optimum solution for scenario. Andy has headed up an investment committee managing nearly £200M of investment funds in the past with a proven track record for improving performance of client portfolios.

While this is the case Andy takes most pride in trying to make complicated solutions simple and leaving clients in the most informed position – most clients do not want to discuss technical jargon and so Andy sees clear communication as the key.

Reviews and Ratings for Financial adviser Andrew Dodd, Halifax
Obtaining an honours degree in Mathematics.
Picking up heavy things. Andy has competed in numerous strongman competitions and is now training for a powerlifting competition, although having done the World Coal Carrying competition several times he finds this the most gruelling! He aims to one day compete in the Finnish wife carrying championships…
If Andy could invite three people to dinner it would have to be Warren Buffet, Quentin Tarantino, John Cleese.

One of Claire’s highest achievements is Achieving Chartered Financial Planner status whilst juggling a busy family life and career.
Claire spends most of her weekends with her husband at the side of a football pitch watching their son and weather depending enjoys it!!

The rest of the weekend is usually spent trying to persuade her daughter to do anything but shopping.
Her idea of relaxing is spending an afternoon cooking and a houseful of hungry friends and family in the evening .

If Claire could invite three people to dinner it would have to be Michelangelo, Marilyn Monroe and Billy Connolly.

Gill Popple

Office Manager
Office Manager

Gill has worked in the financial services industry for most of her career and has worked with both Claire and Andy for over 10 years. She has gained several Industry Qualifications and is currently studying to complete her Diploma.

Gill is currently in charge of all Administration and Compliance at Heritage, with her main aim being to ensure that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Her ethos is that all clients should be provided with excellent customer care and a personal service that is second to none.

Gill has a love / hate relationship with running, mainly due to her love (no hate) relationship with chocolate, so completing a charity 10k run was a big achievement.

However, Gill is currently in training to complete the 3 peaks challenge in August so watch this space.

Gill loves spending time with friends and family and has a passion for interior design and decorating, which ultimately fuels her second passion of shopping!! She is a fair weather cyclist and loves walking her naughty whippet named Blue.
Michael Mcintyre to provide the humour, Nigella Lawson to do the cooking and keep her husband entertained and Daniel Craig (aka James Bond) to keep Gill entertained.
